Terms of Service
Welcome to The Veg Plan ("the Service", "we", "us"). By accessing thevegplan.com or purchasing any plan, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
The Veg Plan generates personalized vegetarian meal plans that follow ahimsa principles (no onion, no garlic, no root vegetables, no animal products, no dairy). We sell one-time digital products: a single-day personalized plan (₹99) and a 7-Day Pro Pack (₹1,999). These are not subscriptions; no recurring charges apply.
2. Account & Eligibility
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. You must be at least 18 years old, or have parental consent, to use the Service.
3. Payments
All payments are processed securely by Dodo Payments (our Merchant of Record), which handles payment processing, GST, and tax compliance. We do not store your card or bank details. Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and may include applicable taxes.
4. License to Use Plans
Upon payment, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view and use your generated plan(s) for your own personal use. You may not resell, redistribute, publish, or create derivative works from the plans or any Service content.
5. Acceptable Use
- Do not attempt to bypass payment, access restrictions, or generate excessive automated requests.
- Do not scrape, copy, or republish plan content.
- Do not misuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, including the meal database, plan generation logic, branding, and site design, is the property of The Veg Plan and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
7. Disclaimer & No Medical Advice
The Service provides informational content only and is not medical, nutritional-therapy, or diagnostic advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any diet (see the Medical Disclaimer below).
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of these Terms, fraud, or abusive behavior, without prejudice to any amounts due.
10. Changes & Governing Law
We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last Updated" date above will reflect changes. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India.
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled. It applies to all users of thevegplan.com, consistent with the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.

2. How We Use Your Data
- To create your account and authenticate you.
- To generate and deliver your meal plans (including by email).
- To process payments via Dodo Payments.
- To prevent fraud and abuse (including rate limiting).
- To improve the Service and, with your consent where required, send relevant updates.
3. Third Parties
We share data only with the processors needed to operate the Service:
- Dodo Payments — payment processing (they act as Merchant of Record and process tax).
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting (region: ap-southeast-1).
- Google — optional social sign-in (only if you choose it).
- Analytics providers — aggregated, privacy-respecting usage metrics.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
4. Data Retention
Account and profile data are retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time (see Grievance & Contact below). Transactional records (payments) are retained for as long as required by law (including tax/GST obligations).
5. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may export or withdraw your data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
6. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, restricted database access, and rate limiting to protect your data. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we follow industry-standard practices.
7. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Because our products are digital and delivered instantly, the following policy applies to all purchases made through thevegplan.com, in accordance with Indian e-commerce regulations for digital goods.
1. Right to Refund
- Non-delivery: If you paid but did not receive your plan (or your access is not unlocked) within 24 hours, you are entitled to a full refund or immediate re-delivery.
- Technical defect: If the delivered plan is technically defective (e.g., cannot be opened or received), we will re-deliver it, and if re-delivery fails, provide a full refund.
- Change of mind: Because digital content is delivered instantly and consumed upon receipt, purchases are generally non-refundable once delivered.
- Duplicate/unintentional purchase: We will refund duplicate or clearly unintended purchases in full.
2. How to Request a Refund
Email support@thevegplan.com with your order ID (shown on your receipt / payment confirmation email) within 7 days of purchase. Include a brief reason. We respond within 2 business days.
3. Processing
Approved refunds are processed by Dodo Payments back to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
4. Cancellation
There are no subscriptions, so there is nothing to cancel. If you wish to remove your account and data instead, see the Grievance & Contact section.
